to laugh
and find you
there,
to scream joy
and not leave
the sky
empty
to wake
between dream
and sleep, to gentle
your name with my lips,
to whisper fears
back
to oblivion
to feel
my heart thudding
the essence
of you
inhaling
me,
soul and self,
back to
life
to laugh
and find
you
everywhere; to
scream
and not
leave
the warm you’ve
spun
out of my
cold
to laugh
and not leave
the
sky

whoa! you are deliriously, happily thrown out of orbit… and straight into a supernova explosion. haha. not so quiet now, eh? ^_^
You write with such a keen passion and romance. It is almost Shakespearean. Well done! I particularly (sp?) like:
to laugh
and find
you
everywhere
Wonderful stuff. For some reason, bloglines is not always letting me know when you update.GRRR Guess I’ll do manuelly now. The Quiet One url is now http://www.thequietone.net
Everytime I read your work, I cannot help but shake my head in wonder. I cannot even tell which poems are better than the other. All I know is that I admire your work almost as much, if not more than, the authors I’ve read in libraries.
Long, long time..
Loved this:
“to laugh
and find
you
everywhere;”
and
“to laugh
and not leave
the
sky”
You know why? Because I lived that.
