Updating A Life
A short list for me, for you:
I’ve been smoke-free (yeah, cold turkey!) for 3 weeks now. I mean to keep it that way.
I’ve been watching the CFC leaders make a mess of their service.
I’m exploring, wanting to expand, my relationship with my Lord, while still carrying a garbage-load of questions.
I’ve gravitated between feeling very small and dysfunctional and greatly hopeful but wordless these past few months.
My best friend, Bob, in suddenly quitting all charity projects we’ve shared in the doing, has left me feeling betrayed (try holding up a figurative boat up at one end and nobody at the other side), and bemusedly reviewing all I believed I knew about friendships. This, on top of Ron’s earlier desertion.
I’ll probably be writing again, and soon, when I become properly miserable.
